Paul was saying follow me, as I follow Jesus. As I prayed about housing for Kids for Jesus, God spoke to me that we are to be at Temple Baptist Church. I took my staff out on the field side of this small facility. I told them what God was telling me. Multiplying the numbers of children and adults…Then dividing them into such a small space to me would not add up. Doing the math made no sense. As I prayed God showed me that a lot of the bible, reading it with common sense would not work. God’s way is not always our way. But as I prayed I was reminded of a station wagon and 6 children. Then showed how over 12,000 children and adults attended church/functions in 2009 using the bus. How 260 accepted Jesus last year. Not even to say how many rededicated their lives. Or how many grew in the lord last year. How we could be working with 5 churches weekly to transport/teach about Jesus. Most of this happens with one bus. We do run 2 busses on Sunday evenings. It has been two weeks at Temple Baptist Church. We start at 4:30pm till 6pm. Eleven saved in two weeks. The presence of the Holy Spirit is upon this place. We still need a building. We will still be in a building fund. Kids for Jesus will operate between regular services at Temple. Come be a part of Kids for Jesus Ministry…I say follow me as I follow Jesus.

Mr. Ronnie and Staff

No Way…Can’t be done…Another Church
Starting the first Monday in March, we will be bussing children/adults to New Birth Baptist church on Annafrel Street in Rock Hill. We could use your help…We need teachers, helpers, materials and snacks, a place for everyone that will come be a part of this mission field. We will start by running 3 weeks being off the last Monday of the month till I get drivers in place. Then it will be full time. I am excited about picking up a new area. Kids for Jesus Ministry will always be an outreach ministry…Another opportunity to hear about Jesus.

Being Obedient…
A lady told me that when she got her monthly check she went on and paid her tithes. She struggles every month to make ends meet. She told me last Tuesday about a voucher to help pay the winter power bills. The check was $425.00. God will always take care of his children that are obedient.

Prayers Answered…
Jonathan (John)…9 years old, had cancer. The doctors say that the cancer is gone. I say God heard our prayers. As I’ve heard never stop praying in the middle of the miracle. Pray that someone gets saved because of Jonathan.

One Hot Telephone…
I had to start cutting my phone off when I went to bed. People would call me all during the night just to talk. Emergency only after 9pm till 6am. The phone will stay on and hot all the time. I want to be there for your needs.

2010 is going to be a good year for Kids for Jesus. We are working very hard toward getting our own building. I’m leaving a lot of children back that would be in church if we had a place. Most churches aren’t set up for the numbers we bring. We need your prayers.

Mr. Ronnie and Staff

What’s up…

Faith Christian Ministries – Is looking for a school teacher that would tutor some children that can’t read very well. Please call Mr. Ronnie at 803-325-5507 for details. Could use upper high school/college students that need to earn credits.

Midtown Ministries – Needs volunteers to do missionary work; Working with children/adults. (Call Mr. Ronnie)

The Academy Christian School – It is never too late to get your child a Christian education. Contact Wendy at 803-448-4950.

Kids for Jesus Ministries – Meeting at Carolina Kids Day Care on Sunday evenings till we can get a facility. Come and be a part. Starts at 5:15pm till 7pm.

Building Fund – The ministry opened up the bank account approximately a month ago. In 3 weeks time, God has sent $5,600.00 to this account. A lot of fundraisers are being put in place. The next meeting will be at 7pm January 21st at Temple Baptist. We could use your help. From building permits being sold, a gospel singing, decals, t-shirts, a car show, spaghetti, or hash dinners sold. The money is coming. God will supply our needs. Come be a part of Kids for Jesus Ministry.

Special Donation – As some adults were talking about Kids for Jesus having a church, a little girl went to her room and came back with $7.00. This little girl said she wanted to help buy the building for the children. A child, a servant…special thanks to Maddi(5 years old).

Prayers Reaching Heaven…

We gathered in around a teenage girl Sunday night to pray for her 9 year old brother. John has cancer. We prayed for the healing power of God to come down upon John. Tuesday night after the bus run to Faith Christian Ministries/Midtown Ministries (85 in church on Tuesday), I received a call from Anna that her brother went for treatment on Monday but his blood count was so good he did not receive treatment. I was told to never stop praying in the middle of the miracle. Help us to pray for this child…Raise up John in prayer.

<fb:share-button href="http://www.fieldofgrace.com/kids4jesus/?p=40" type="button"></fb:share-button>
From a station wagon October 11, 2002 with 6 children to 400+ children and adults; going from church to church trying to fit in. Starting with Pastor Ronnie Aiton that is known as Mr. Ronnie everywhere to the children starting at 2 years old and up to your age. One church said after 10 months of running there, told me I had to cut my numbers to less than half of what I had been riding so the church could catch up with the bus growth. Which children can’t come next Sunday?? Mr. Ronnie wouldn’t leave any of the children home so we had to move. A lot of people were hurt over us leaving. The people in the church didn’t understand. The leaders of the church were making decisions to build the whole church, not just the bus ministry. People ask me all the time why don’t you bring mom and dad. A lot of times one of the parents are raising the children all alone and some are working during the times we go to church. Yet some just won’t take them but will allow them to ride the Kids for Jesus bus. Some churches are too small and can’t handle the load the bus brings. Just how many can be taught when 60+ exits the bus and the small church only had three Sunday school teachers. I thank all the churches that has opened their doors and said bring them here.

It’s time we stand in a gap as wide as York County. We brought it before our membership that never signs a membership card for a hands up vote. Starting at 4 years old and up we voted to pursue our very own church building. The vote was unanimous. The church building is located on Annafrel Street here in Rock Hill. When up and running to capacity, the church will never be closed. 24/7, the lights will always be on. A church that Kids for Jesus can call their own. A church that will never belong to the people. A church that says none left behind as is on our t-shirts. A lot of people believe in Kids for Jesus Ministry. As the ole yellow busses run the roads of York County transporting children to churches people are praying for our safety, finances, and wellbeing. People ask Mr. Ronnie, “How can I help?” The money to purchase this building will come in donations. Instead of selling wheelbarrow licenses to buy busses, Kids for Jesus will be selling permits, permitting the children to move into their very own church. There will be donation jugs in as many stores as possible across York County to raise the money. Churches send money to support missions work everywhere. We will be handing out DVDs and information about a love offering from churches/Sunday school classes to support the purchase of the building. A bank account is set up at Bank of America for Kids for Jesus Ministry Building Fund. The ministry will take anything of value to be sold to purchase the church building.

Enough is enough…

As the moneys comes the people will be informed through the newspaper, CN2 News, word of mouth through the local churches to when and how we are doing to reach our goal. Tax time is coming. Make a donation of anything of value and we will give you a contribution slip. Kids for Jesus Ministry has truly made an impact on a lot of lives. Over 1000 children a month make it to churches on the busses. Over 253 have received Christ this year. A lady made a statement that Mr. Ronnie wasn’t going to understand 2009. She was right. Rock Hill is not going to understand 2010. Be a part…Get on board.

Merry Christmas to you from Mr. Ronnie, Kids for Jesus Ministry and Staff!

Mr. Ronnie

<fb:share-button href="http://www.fieldofgrace.com/kids4jesus/?p=43" type="button"></fb:share-button>
Kids for Jesus ministry continues to grow faster than we have facilities, busses, workers and resources. Most churches aren’t set up to handle the church we bring. Last week I went to a meeting at Emmett Scott Center as teens spoke out about the violence in their neighborhoods. How bad the peer pressure is in their lives to fit in, to do the bad things. A lot of the children have to raise themselves while mom or dad is out working, one of the parents are in jail or going to jail. Single parents are raising children trying to work jobs that require them to be gone at night. The children living with parents that are so stressed out they can’t seem to get it together as parents because of all it takes just to feed the kids. The children, a lot of them, live under lock and key. Children are raising themselves, most of the time having to watch brothers and sisters while the parents are working. Parent roles as young as 10 years old. Kids for Jesus ministry is working hard following God’s call to have our own facility.

We will have Kids for Jesus permits…permitting us to move into our own church building. Kids for Jesus ministry would be open hopefully 24/7 to handle the spiritual needs, food, clothing, housing, medicine, counseling and affordable child care for ladies trying to work. A safe haven for the battered or torn homes and lives of so many. We are working to get a facility large enough to handle such needs. The permits are being designed as I write this letter. We will have fundraisers on every corner to raise the money for the building, to gather the supplies for the needs of so many. Pray about what God is going to do with this ministry. I know he has never sent me to a dead end yet. I have raised so much money with wheelbarrow licenses. I will be having meetings concerning the growth of Kids for Jesus ministry. Could or would you get on board with us to help with the mission field? I need your phone number so we can speak about the meetings and needs of this ministry. Be a part of a mission work in the York County area.

Please call one of the following and leave a name/number so you can be informed of what is going on with Kids for Jesus. We need your prayers and help to do the work of the Lord.

Providing…

I always run late going to get tags for vehicles at my house. I have so many special friends at the tax office in Rock Hill. One or some of the ladies had gathered clothing in large bags for me to put in the free yard sales stuff. I received a phone call from one of our workers about a lady that lost everything in a house fire. All she had was the clothes on her back. The bags of clothing were the sizes of what this lady wore. The clothes were put in the trunk of my car and delivered to this lady. Her needs were provided for.

Mr. Ronnie and Staff

Block Party at Midtown…

On the 26th of September, a damp and misty day, a team of Christians gathered at Midtown. We served hotdogs, cotton candy and popcorn. We face painted children and adults, played games with the neighborhood children, had a free yard sale which provided clothing, coats, shoes and lots of household needs to the community. We presented the salvation message to a lot of people. 30+ got saved. Midtown Ministries under the leadership of Dave Roth usually runs around 15-20 in church on Sunday morning. September 27, they had 70 in church that morning. If you want to see your church grow, contact us. This tool works. Outreach, reaching out.

Kids for Jesus (Hog Wild BBQ)

We sold BBQ on October 16-17 at Temple Baptist Church. The profits added over $1,700 to our account. This will buy tires, insurance, fuel and meet the needs of the ministry. Success in this sale is measure by all that was touched.

A crippled man needed a walker…he received it at the BBQ sale.

A homeless man in York was fed while our workers were delivering.

Children in Sharon, SC received clothing. Their mom was killed. Their needs were met.

A lady that came needed special prayer. She was comforted.

The workers pulled together from several different churches and the sale was quite a success. A special thank you to Claude Malden and his wonderful family for helping make the BBQ sale possible. Claude just wants to see a lost world reached. He’s quick to tell you that it’s all about Jesus. We do have some BBQ left. It’s frozen in 1 lb bags. The cost is $10.00 (approximately 6 sandwiches). The money helps keep the bus running.

Hurry up Mr. Ronnie…

A young lady called the bus last Sunday morning to find out how much longer before we picked her up. I told her about 15 minutes. She said I’m locked out of the house. It was cold and she had no coat on. She didn’t want to wake her mom and dad up. I got there quick as I could. Just one special bus kid.

Special Prayer Request

Please Pray for my Mom.

Pray my Dad comes back home. I miss him.

Pray that my Mom don’t go to jail.

Pray that my dad gets saved.

Our whole family has swine flu. Pray for us.

Pray that my sister’s baby is being taken care of.

Pray that my Grandma don’t die. I need her so much.

Pray that I make the right decisions in my life (teen).

Tragedy…

The young man that got killed near Workman Street; I thought, we pick up 55 children within a one mile radius of where this happened. Pray for this ministry as we work harder to reach this community. Pray about supporting this ministry. We run solely off of donations.

We don’t go there anymore…God sent us to Cedar Valley Mobile Home Park. A young lady and her friend rode. One of the ladies saw me at a park. She shared with me about moving. I let her know she would be picked up at her new home. This child invited 3 children to ride the bus with us. It wasn’t long these children’s mom started coming to church. Wanda (mother) got saved and joined the church. This child brought a neighbor that tends to her. This lady got saved and joined the church. The 3 children’s mom brought another friend (Tony). Tony joined the church. Since then, this child has moved again…I can’t find her to bring her but I’m not supposed to…On Sunday mornings her Grandma is coming and bringing her to church. Jesus is using this little girl. Thanking God for allowing us to be a part of her life; Kylee Dailey, 7 years old.

Block Parties in our Area…

When a mission team of 88 went to Mississippi this summer and 596 people in 4 days accepted Jesus, God woke us up to the need for doing this in our area. We will be doing our first one this weekend, September 26th at Midtown Apartments. Using a salvation bracelet we will present the gospel to a lot of people. I would like to see the local churches in the area go after the ones that get saved. On the trip to Jackson Mississippi we had them fill out cards when they got saved. The churches went after them. If you would like to see your church grow, contact Linda at 803-327-9812. Ask about getting involved. God laid it on my heart to ask for donations to buy supplies this first party is covered but we will be selling Licenses to Text to buy equipment needed to do this. (A larger trailer, tables, popcorn machine, snow cone machine, salvation bracelets, food supplies, ect.) Block Parties…Another tool to reach the lost world.

Barbeque

Kids for Jesus ministry staff and volunteers will be hosting another BBQ sale shortly. The last one was great. The money helps run the ministry. Watch for advertisements…flyers…The busses with banners…Word of mouth. Coming soon!

It has been a very busy Summer…

I knew it would be. With the guidance and the strength from almighty God it has been an experience we will never forget. Never say never… I made a statement that I would not do 6 VBS’s again next year. Jesus reminded me that 100 names were recorded in heaven that accepted Him. (We may do 8 VBS’s next year.) Just following Jesus. Special thanks to all that pray and gave of your time and money to make this possible. A lot of the churches we help can’t even comprehend the cost of running a bus. From the staff of Kids for Jesus Ministry, a special Thank You.
Mr. Ronnie

Just Moving down the road…

One night while leaving a Bible School, I received a phone call that was left as a message. Mr. Ronnie, I’m on call, you are backing up traffic…speed up or do something. I do drive kind of slow. Special thanks to the police officers that help watch after the run of the bus. Yet while on duty are guardian angels that watch after these children, making it safer as we transport these children. Some of the neighborhoods we travel are not very safe. But to look up and realize that the law enforcement of York County helps watch after the children’s safety is a gift from God.

Kids for Jesus/Lakewood Baptist…

8-16-09 marked the biggest run ever on a Sunday night. We bussed 126 children and adults to Lakewood using two 60 passenger busses/7 passenger van/one car. Counting the kids, some that came on their own, the regulars from the church and the numbers would easily be 160+…Come be a part…don’t miss Sunday nights at Lakewood.

Special Note…

Four children came forward Sunday night and told me they wanted Jesus in their hearts. Just following Jesus…210 saved thru this ministry this year. Soul Change…Life Change…Follow Jesus.

Reaching Souls thru Block Parties…

On a mission trip to Jackson Mississippi, I witnessed 596 salvations thru Block parties. If you or your church would be interested contact Linda at 327-9812 or you can contact her at 367-3042. Already 5 churches onboard to do this mission field. Going after York, Lancaster and Chester Counties. You want to grow as a Christian…pray about it…get onboard.

I Need You…
On July 1, 2009, I packed up a picnic. Brenda and I got in the dune buggy. We went cruising looking for a place to spend the day alone. It was our anniversary. This lady has put up with me for 33 years. We stopped at Landsford Canal below Rock Hill. As we sat and talked, I had some special things that I had to share with her. For almost seven years of Kids for Jesus Ministry, my wife has helped me with what is needed to run the ministry. But a lot of times we would pass in the hallway or on the road as we went in two different directions. I told Brenda that God was speaking to my heart that she needs to be with me more in this ministry. Brenda said I thought you just wanted to do this ministry with other people instead of me. There always seemed to be people with me as I did the work of the ministry. Starting this morning July 20, 2009, my lovely wife will be working full time with Kids for Jesus Ministry. Do I see financially how this can work…no, but I didn’t see it working when I left General Tire either. I see this ministry growing beyond any measure I could have imagined. I have just enough faith to believe that God can pull this off. God don’t mean for us to worry while we do this work. Pray God’s will. I am looking forward to working with Brenda daily doing what God has called me to do. Jesus says, Follow me.

What’s going on
As I rolled in to McConnells last Wednesday night, I looked out of the window of the bus…I was being filmed. I thought, well they caught up with me…I was being honored as Hometown Hero. CN2 news cast was there. As I told the story to John Walker, one of the news casters, He was swallowing his tears. I saw a true love for children in his eyes. The interview went well but all I could think was that I am nothing without Jesus. I run the busses for and to the Glory of God. I’m just a servant. I hope the clip on TV inspires someone to take a stand for Jesus. I don’t do this for recognition. There are souls in the ballot, lives that need to see that there is hope in this crazy world we live in. I cry at night as I pray for these precious children. Please God, Keep them safe. Please supply food, clothing, medicine and their needs to make it. Please give me and my staff the strength to keep going.
Kids Talk
One of my bus kids called to tell me that her Aunt had her baby…She said it’s a girl and she weighs 5oz and 5lbs. We love Amber Rollins.
Special Prayer Request
I received a call from one of our bus children about a boy that was pulled off the bottom of a swimming pool. The boy had no pulse; the adults started CPR and revived him. He was air lifted to Charlotte. This child came home last Friday. God still answers prayers.
Please Pray for Me
I’m in the middle of Lakewood Baptist Church Vacation Bible School. We will finish this Friday night…On Saturday; we have a Big day/Kickoff at Temple Baptist. We run Saturday thru Friday on this VBS June 20th thru June 26th.

Long – Hard – Hot on the Bus – Worth it all!

Jesus Says…Follow me

Special thanks to all that support this ministry.

If you live in these areas and you want your children picked up for Bible School, contact Mr. Ronnie at 803-325-5507. If you can’t get enough VBS, come join me as I join in to help bring kids to hear about Jesus.
Another Great Year… Youth Rally…Morganton, NC
We traveled to the rally on April 25th using the bus, van and 2 cars. We took 71 to the rally. A cousin of one of the regular riders went with us. Brandon was quite a character. He wanted to talk during service continually. I moved him, and corrected him. Just on and on. After the first service, we had ate, Todd performed on the Dirt Bike. He jumped 5 school busses. We went to the big church service. It was hot as usual in the big building we were in. There were probably 1,000 teens and adults in attendance. Brandon had had about enough of this stuff. Brandon got out of his seat, came over to me and said he needed a drink of water. He said it’s hot in here. I told him if the other 999 kids could handle it, he could too. I told this 15 year old that Hell would be a lot hotter than this…sit down. He’d have to wait…Approximately 30-35 minutes.
Brandon was staring hard at me from where he was sitting. I got where he could hear me and said… me and you boy…He said me and you. He started getting into the service. God touched his heart. At the altar call it was me and him as Brandon got saved. Please pray for this young man. He was on a wrong path. God has changed his direction.
The Shining Light Baptist Church Youth Rally is always great. I bussed a lot of kids up there. A lot of the kids were new on the bus. 25 saved…A long hard trip that was worth it all. Special thank you for the invitation from Shining Light members for us to attend. Reaching a world right outside our door.
Kids for Jesus/Hog Wild BBQ Sale
Well it happened on May 22 and 23. I asked people to pray about the sale. The moneys will help pay for Insurance for a second bus, tires/repairs on the bus we are running at present. I’ve got to be careful about organizing the busses. I can’t go too fast. But it needs to be fairly quick. Jesus says, Hurry…Souls are in the ballot…Richard says turn me loose…with 6 Vacation Bible Schools, two weddings to perform, free yard sales, a fishing trip, a camping trip, swimming trips, a trip to Lancaster Speedway, speaking on Sunday nights at several churches. Meeting the needs of so many people…from groceries, hospital visits, doctor visits, visitation, not to mention kid gets togethers, Dads/Moms that live out of town coming to see the kids and I have to meet them. Always a lot on a calendar/always a lot of needs to be met. Kids for Jesus would fail if it weren’t for your prayers and your support…Going fast forward.
